- Pallets The most economical and effective new pallet is custom designed for size, lift devices, load weight and type, number of uses, and other characteristics. The grade and amount of wood, the design, and the quantity produced are the major determinants of cost. Over-design means paying for more pallet than youneed, and under-design can resutt in spilled load, injured workers, damaged products and otherconsequential expenses. Pallets can be new, remanufactured or used. They can be heat treated for export,and can have solid panel decks. We also provide standard size plastic pallets, if you have special phytosanitary needs.
- Crates and Heavy Duty Skids are designed for the size, weight, shape, fragility, sensitivity and destination of the item to be shipped. They may include floater bases and foam lining or supports for shock andvibration protection. Specialty hardware, blocking and ramps may be included to facilitate reuse or loading. Over-design means paying for more wood, hardware and labour than you need, and under-design can lead to damaged equipment and other consequential expenses.
